We work with a number of businesses and a question that pops up time and time again is whether or not they actually need to move into the digital marketing space - the short answer, YES! Now let me start off with the caveat that we are not a digital marketing firm and I am not getting paid or sponsored for this post :)
But in this day and age, the absolute best way to reach your target market is online. In recent years, we’ve seen digital ad spend surpass traditional ads and by 2020, it’s projected that digital ads will make up more than 50% of all media ad spend (https://www.recode.net/2017/12/4/16733460/2017-digital-ad-spend-advertising-beat-tv).
So what does that mean for your business? Basically if you are relying on the traditional means of advertising without any digital presence, your competition has a huge advantage over you! It’s of course worth note however, that not every digital/social site is created equal and you need to weigh which are the best fit for your company but it’s essential that you have a digital footprint in order for your business to thrive moving forward!
